This past week I announced (and quickly sold out of- thank you!) my Mini Mentoring opportunities for the month of February.
Whenever something fab happens at JBP, I like to do a thank you giveaway. Enter the Mini Mentoring SAMPLER giveaway.
What's in a sampler? a 15 minute/3 image critique with editing and composition review and 3 'ask me anything' questions to be conducted via a Skype mini session (approx. 30 minutes).

I would love to win a mini-sampler session with you - mainly because I really want someone other than family, friends, (and the 5 clients I had last year!) to look at my images and see them through a professional's eyes. I'm determined to grow my side business this year and put myself out there more. A lot of my photog friends/inspirations are in the wedding arena, so it would be great to have a lifestyle person view them.
I also (not sure) think I am signed up for your marketing list.

This is awesome, thank you. I'd love to win because I'm a very new photographer that would really like to venture into the professional world, but I really need a pro to look at my work and point out where I can improve. Why would I like to "win" a mentoring session? Because you "get it!" I'm very fortunate to have had a previous profession which I had the utmost confidence in, but I've left that to pursue what inspires & gives me joy, the kind of joy that warms you all over like the sunshine on a winters day, or hearing a child giggle with a deep belly giggle, and that is Creativity. Images. Details. Funny thing is working in the legal field for years and as research specialist, I'm whole-heartedly amazed at my business' chaos? The flow of things. Branding? Props? Backdrops? Lighting? Sensory overload? Yet, I'm completely committed. spending hours & hours chasing my tail. Loving it, but 'oye! I would give just about anything to have someone just tell me what to do? I also not only respect your awesome work but your way of "telling it like it is!" Life is what you make it kind of thing just searching for the proper tools for my life in Photography and I think you would be the perfect person to provide those tools with your insight. Thanks

I would love to win a mini mentoring session with you. Just wanted to share with you a little history. I had an amazing Mom who loved me so well. Unfortunately, she died of cancer when I was 15 years old. I cherish every photo of her that I have. Each picture is like a little piece of my mom that lives on. It fills my heart with so much joy and life when I look at a picture of my mom. This brings me to you. You have an ability like no other photographer I've ever seen to literally "pause" life with your photos. Your pictures capture real and moving moments in time... once they happen, we can't ever get those moments back. You give your clients a little piece of life with every photo you take. Thank you for that. Life is so short. My dream would be to be a lifestyle photographer like you so my clients can remember those real moments in their day to day lives. As a daughter who lost her Mom, those moments of my Mom I have on paper are by far my most valuable possessions.
